What the difference of our life

In the example of the houses, “our” is a plural possessive first-person pronoun. If we share a house, then the verb is singular. If we have separate houses, the verb is plural. I hope these example show how both “in our life” and “in our lives” can each be correct, depending on their use.

Is it our life or our lives?
If you are using in our lives in reference to many people it is correct. As in our lives is a plural form. If you are using in our life in reference to only one person or yourself it is correct. As in our life is singular form of it.
