What the difference of our life

In the example of the houses, “our” is a plural possessive first-person pronoun. If we share a house, then the verb is singular. If we have separate houses, the verb is plural. I hope these example show how both “in our life” and “in our lives” can each be correct, depending on their use.

Is it our life or our lives?
If you are using in our lives in reference to many people it is correct. As in our lives is a plural form. If you are using in our life in reference to only one person or yourself it is correct. As in our life is singular form of it.

Life and live are two related words that refer to the state of living. The main difference between life and live is that life is a noun that refers to existence while live is a verb that refers to remaining alive. ... So no one can explain the difference between life and lives.

Is it people's lives or life's?
In other words, you would use 'our lives' when talking in the plural ('We'), and 'my life' in the singular ('I'). The usage of life in singular form is meaningful as we all share one life—denoting shared existence. fraternity, equality etc. Once we make clones, we can say lives (life + clones).
